FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

ATL's INSTALLS GIGABIT NETWORK

New hardware increases efficiency and decreases design time.

A gigabit network has been installed in parallel with the company's 100 megabit system.  Network cards in the CAD workstations and the server cluster have been replaced with gigabit systems to provide 10/100/1000 bit compatibility.  This upgrade follows a general upgrading of the company's high speed section of its technical network.  Other upgrades include replacing graphics computers with Intel multimedia systems, changing to dual 20 inch LCDs for CAD display subsystems, installation of a hardware firewall and a gigabit switch to complement the company's router group.
